Telunas Private Island

Located in the Riau archipelago, Telunas Private Island is situated between Sugi Island and Sugibawah Island. A popular area for fishing and canoeing, the island is surrounded by the sparkling South China Sea.

The island is located an approximately one-hour boat ride and drive from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). Roundtrip land and boat transfers from Batam Pier (Sekupang) to Telunas Private Island are included in your package; please contact the resort for more information.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Ridge Villas: Please note that a moderate level of fitness is required to ascend to the Ridge Villas, which are an approximately five- to ten-minute walk from reception. Guests in Ridge Villas receive breakfast in their outdoor lounge area.
• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• To apply for a visa on arrival, you must have an ordinary (non-emergency) passport with at least six months of validity from the date you plan to enter and the date you plan to leave Indonesia and a return or onward flight booking to another country. There is an IDR500,000 fee (approximately USD$35).
• Daily all-inclusive dining includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast consists of local and Western favorites, along with juice and coffee or tea, and is served at the Grand Lodge between 7am and 9am. Guests in Ridge Villas receive breakfast in their outdoor lounge area. Lunch consists of a soup and salad bar and chef’s choice for entree, and is served at the Grand Lodge between 12pm and 2pm. Dinner is a choice of three entrees and includes appetisers, bread, and dessert. Dinner is served in the Grand Lodge from 6pm to 8.30pm.
• One complimentary activity is offered per day based on the resort schedule. Guests have the option to participate in activities such as cooking demos, local village tours, jungle waterfall hikes (seasonal), pottery, and low ropes courses. Hosts will advise guests of activities with one day’s notice.
• Stand-up paddle board and kayak hire is free of charge. Available from 8.30am to 11am, and 1pm and 4.30pm from the recreation shed next to the Grand Lodge.
• Massages can be organised upon check-in and can be redeemed between 9am and 6pm. Telunas, Balinese, Fusion and Aromatherapy massages are available.
• Return land & speedboat arrangement from Batam Pier to Telunas -
• The international ferry from Singapore to Batam and Batam to Singapore must be booked in advance. On the day of their arrival, guests must arrive in Batam by 11.10am to connect to the ferry to Telunas departing at 12.30pm.
• On the day of departure, the boat from Telunas to the ferry at Batam departs at 2.45pm (not available on Friday). Friday departures leave Telunas at 8.30am. Guests departing Saturday to Thursday can book the international ferry from Batam to HarbourFront (Singapore) at 5.30pm. Guests departing on Friday can book the 11.20am departure from Batam.
• All boat and ferry transfers are accompanied by Telunas Staff. Please contact the resort directly to confirm ferry information.
• Roundtrip transfers between Batam and Telunas Private Island are available for extra guests. A surcharge of A$100 per person, payable directly to the resort, applies. Infants travel free of charge.
