Granted, the hotel is not near San Marco square. But we loved it! It’s next to Piazzale Roma stop, so 20 mins bus to the airport and a Vaporetto away to most areas in Venice. Much calmer area without the crazy crowds. People are amazing, from the front desk to the cleaners, to the waitresses at breakfast, they really made our stay extraordinary! Definitely recommended!

We stayed here with our Costco Travel package and were very impressed with the location the most. Walkable to the train station and nearby vaporetto stops. We are huge foodies and this hotel is right next to some of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. We had the Bloom Room, which was down the hall from the dining room in a secluded area of the hotel away from other guests, which included access to a private hot tub and a back patio that overlooked the river. Absolutely gorgeous room with plenty of space. We also were welcomed with a bottle of Italian sparkling wine and some antipasto for our special trip. The included breakfast was lovely, my favorite breakfast of all the hotels we stayed at. Very fresh and delicious. The dining area was beautiful. The only things I would say could be improved is the communication with the front desk. We had some small bumps in the road, including the jets in our hot tub did not work at all, so you’re sitting in hot or cold water. We didn’t know how to drain it, and they weren’t explanatory in how to fill or drain it. Instructions for this would be perfect. Overall, fantastic accommodations, perfect location, and very friendly staff. Would recommend.

We chose the hotel for it's prime location very to near Piazzale Roma via one of the few ramped bridges in Venice. The hotel itself is very old style but it's been renovated with new lifts, bathrooms and windows. The room was cool and quiet at night despite being via a busy entrance path into the centre of Venice and being on a canal (water taxis can pick up and drop off from outside hotel front door). The staff were all very pleasant. The room was a good size with a large bathroom with walk in shower. We just wouldn't book a Terrace Room again, only because of the birds and their vast droppings, but the view was great. The breakfast was pretty good and the hotel has a nice bar with a terrace. Overall, for three nights we were very happy with our stay, especially the hotel's location.

Solid 4 star hotel located conveniently near the bus and train station for Venice. The service was incredibly good, particularly that from housekeeping who went above and beyond. The rooms were very clean, water pressure decent and the bed extremely comfortable. We enjoyed a drink at the bar and were very looked after. I would mark the hotel down slightly for the slightly tired interiors and ultimately the price... but Venice is indeed expensive!
