⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our first stay at the Hyatt Regency Shatin was initially booked as a convenient stopover, it turned into one of the best hospitality that we will remember. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The highlight began upon check-in. The staff were warm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. We were surprised with a beautiful welcome cake—a gesture that immediately made us feel valued. It was so thoughtful that we saved it to enjoy later in our stay. And that's where the "saga of the forgotten cake" after check out begins. In the rush of packing on our final morning, I made the classic mistake of leaving my favorite cake in the room's refrigerator. We didn't realize it until we were already in North Point, far from the hotel. I went back to the hotel. The front desk team, specifically a wonderful staff member was an absolute angel. This entire experience—from the unexpected joy of the welcome cake to the flawless recovery of our forgotten items—showcased a hotel that operates with both incredible efficiency and a huge heart. Hyatt Regency Shatin doesn't just provide a place to sleep; they provide peace of mind and a level of care that is truly rare. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay very very warm!

Prime location where you can take mrt and bus. Room is spacious and an extra bed is provided. Good for family stay. We stay here twice to three times per year. Though the room shows signs of aging, it’s well kept. But one upsetting note is we’ve found a hard time of complimentary upgrade our last and this stay. As a Hyatt member, we were granted the upgrade automatically in last few years. However, we had to asked for this in these two stays. And the staff were quite reluctantly to help out at first. We decided not to stay here once in this April as the other hotel could grant the upgrade as a member.

Great rooms, facilities, and staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. The views were amazing. The food in the hotel was good, although the buffet was slightly worse than the normal restaurant. The only thing we were really disappointed by was the food from room service. We ordered pasta carbonara and it was as if they threw water on pasta with cheese and very dry bacon. It was definitely not worth what it cost. Despite this, the hotel is super nice and it even has a small bakery and flower shop inside.

Stayed one night to celebrate the birthday of my husband. Our room was upgraded as staff missed my main special request. Room was clean, spacious, quiet and with great habour view. Bed was a bit hard for us, dated A/C control panel had limited functions and room was too warm at night while toilet flush was a bit weak. Pool area was small but relaxing, however ladies changing room, toilet, shower and sauna facilities were under renovation which was disappointing. Breakfast buffet was ok with quite a variety of choices. Overall a pleasant stay.
