While countryside views come at a premium from select rooms, the call of the town’s surrounding rugged landscape is easily walkable with Lake Daylesford just a 10-minute stroll from your front door.
Choose from chic, contemporary decor in an array of brightly fitted rooms such as Retro or Terrace, to more sultry mood-setters like the Monroe or Rouge. There are king beds galore with a selection of round queens to ignite your curiosity and leave a memorable mark on your escape to the country. Start your day from the comfort of your handpicked room and make your way to Koukla cafe where an a la carte breakfast and barista-made coffee await. This popular corner cafe with indoor-outdoor seating offers the perfect sanctuary from which to indulge in Australia’s modern pride and joy – an artisanal breakfast of locally grown produce.
Later, after a day exploring the relaxed atmosphere of Victoria’s favourite country town, return to Hotel Frangos and pop your welcome bottle of sparkling wine for a sundowner to celebrate your escape. In the evening, Koukla cafe also offers dinner and your A$20 dining credit is just the ticket to get the party started.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.
- Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.
Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.
Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).
Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.
Please Note:
- Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
- All rooms are unique from each other. Please make sure of your selection before confirming your booking.
- Daily cooked a la carte breakfast is served at Koukla cafe from 8.30am until 11.30am.
- Barista-made coffee is served from 7.30am.
- Guests are given a card to redeem the bottle of sparkling wine throughout their stay.
- Dining Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay at Koukla cafe (outside of breakfast hours). Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. No minimum spend. This can be used alone or redeemed against a dining bill of greater value. Must be used in one transaction each day.
- There are no lifts on the property. All guest rooms are on the first floor and must be accessed via stairs.
- All guests receive complimentary Wi-Fi and parking.
