Step into the rich history and culture of Australia on this two-hour guided tour along the shores of Victoria’s Tae Rak (Lake Condah). This Gunditjmara led tour of the Tae Rak (Lake Condah) wetlands provides an overview of the Gunditjmara creation story, the lifecycle of Kooyang (eels) and the lake’s extensive marine and birdlife and continues on to see the network of aquaculture systems designed to trap and harvest kooyang (eel) for food and trade. Afterwards, you’ll be able to rest your feet at the Tae Rak Aquaculture Centre Cafe, and try the signature dish, the Kooyang (Eel) Tasting Plate.
