Taste some of the best artisanal Italian in town at Castle Hill’s very own Cibo e Vino with a four course dinner for two
Rated Castle Hill's top restaurant by the SMH Good Food Guide four years in a row
Course One: Start with any entrée to share – choose from the lightly crisp calamari fritti, beautiful crab bruschetta, the famous shoestring fries and more
Course Two: Share any main from the mouth-watering menu of homemade pasta and succulent meat mains, including the lamb ragu with thick ribbons of pappardelle pasta, slow-cooked lamb shanks, risotto cooked with prawns, calamari and mussels, grain fed beef fillet and more
Course Three: Pick any pizza to share – there’s the fiery Diavola with hot salami, garlic prawn pizza, beautifully simple margarita or you can build your own pizza from a long list of gourmet toppings
Course Four: Select a dessert each from amaretto crème brulee, tiramisu, crêpes with vanilla bean gelato and more

This was my first visit and honestly I was amazed at the food and service quality. A must go place for all."Urbanspoon
It’s always commendable to see a suburban restaurant shuffle a little outside the comfort zone. Take Cibo e Vino, for example. Instead of dishing up a safe, unchanging menu, Cibo hammers home the freshest-is-best philosophy by creating a seasonal menu and tweaking it daily. It’s understandable when you discover chef Paul Toogood honed his skills for a time at The River Cafe – impressive credentials in anyone’s book. Like the lofty London establishment, Cibo focuses on clean, unpretentious Italian flavours – bold, simple tastes designed to transport you to sun-kissed tomato vineyards and olive tree studded fields."De Groots Media
Toogood is talented and his training is showing... His ingredients are choice and fresh. He's not fiddling with them too much. And he knows how to cook."Sydney Morning Herald
