Quro Pilates classes work the body out to 80 per cent fatigue, thereby encouraging it to continue burning metabolising fat long after the session is over. The classes enhance physical tone by lengthening the muscles rather than bulking them up, creating an enviable long and lean shape. Pilates also improves alignment and posture, and is the ideal complement to both a sedentary and active lifestyle.
By providing personalised attention to each client and keeping the group classes small, Quro Pilates is designed for all levels of fitness. The results from the classes provide drive for clients to adopt fitness into their daily regime and ensure they have the knowledge they need to become actively aware of their bodies.
Yoga classes are dynamic and challenging, yet they encourage their students to work at their own level and practice safely with awareness. Although many students practice just for the physical benefits, they believe that as you go deeper into the practice you will find that yoga is not just a series of postures, it is a state of being and an amazing journey of self-discovery.
Each Quro Yoga class incorporates a series of breath-connected postures (asanas) that encourage integration of body and mind. Inhaling and exhaling cues inform the movement of interwoven asanas. The emphasis of breath in tandem with movement, along with a deliberate ordering of postures builds flexibility, strength and energy. The result is an athletic and peaceful, invigorating and calming, fun and challenging yoga experience!
