Become an internationally certified open water diver with a diving course with the experts at Dive Plus.
The Standard Dive Plus open water course meets the high requirements of the Australian Standard AS/4005.1-2000, as well as International Standered ISO 24801-2 and the WRSTC open water standard.
The course includes four classroom sessions and a theory test to prepare for dives, four training sessions in an indoor heated pool and tank and four open water ocean dives in Port Phillip Bay.
Receive an Internationally recognised Open Water Dive Certificate recognised worldwide.
Dive Plus provides all equipment necessary for your training including a mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit and scuba.
Courses begin every week and are offered over either two consecutive weekends, four evenings or four days full time, for a total of over 25 hours of training (see full details in 'Itinerary' tab).
With international certification, you’re permitted to dive anywhere in the world; think cruising with sea turles in Malaysia, exploring wrecks of the Red Sea, coral in the Great Barrier Reef and more.

Valid for one person over 14 years of age
You must be of a reasonable physical condition for diving. You are required to undergo a medical examination according to Australian Standard AS4005.1 prior to booking your course. Failure to produce a certificate of medical fitness to scuba dive 14 days prior to the commencement of the course will result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Vouchers can however be transferred with at least 14 days notice in the event that it can't be used due to failure to produce a certificate
You must be able to swim 200 metres without resting and unaided and tread water for at least 10 minutes immediately after swimming the 200 metres. No refunds are available should you be unable to demonstrate sufficient swimming ability
Members can purchase and use a maximum of up to one voucher for themselves and multiple as gifts
Bookings are absolutely essential by email, please follow instructions on the Dive Plus website . When booking, please state that you are using a voucher and please provide your 16 digit voucher number. Please also provide your name, preferred format, preferred dates and contact number

Length of each dive will depend on the location and experience of the participants
